TFO has come a long way since relocating to Smithfield, NSW in 2009. What began as an auction and clearance outlet soon evolved into Australia’s largest single tile store, with TFO starting tin import its own stock; initially 5-10 containers annually. In 2015, our dedicated Commercial division was established to meet the growing needs of builders and developers. This commitment to specialised service deepened in 2022 with the launch of The Design Lab, a space created exclusively for Architects and Designers.

Another important frequently asked question is about delivery. Our prices do not include delivery. However, we have a list of reputable third party transport companies that will take care of your delivery needs. AT TFO, we accept Cash, Credit Card, Cheque and Bank Transfer as methods of payment. In short, funds must be cleared prior to goods being picked up or delivered.

Wall tiles are suitable for wall application only, whereas floor tiles can be used on both floors and walls.

Shade variation is characteristic in all fired products and includes colour and tonal differences which vary with each batch produced.

Yes, 600x600mm tiles can be used on the bathroom floor. Always check with your tiler before purchasing tiles.

For general cleaning, sweep or vaccum first, then mop with warm water and suitable tile cleaner. Do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals. For further information, please refer to Sales for Cleaning & Maintainence Guidelines.

Yes, all our natural stone needs to be sealed.

12mm natural stone should only be installed on a concrete substate. 30mm stone is best for a road base application.

12mm and 15mm are tile thicknesses, whereas 30mm is a paver and suitable for different types of applications.

No we do not recommend tilers, however you can refer to www.tfo.com.au/tilers/ as a starting point. It is the customers responsibility to ensure their tiler has a current tiling license and meets your requirements.

No, we do not cut tiles, this is done onsite by your tiler.

Costs can vary, your tiler will provide you with a cost for installation.

Both products can be used, what you select will be dependant on your substrate.
