Hi, I just wanted to know how many tiles are in a sheet.
Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. There are 42 48mm hexagon pieces on one sheet of this mosaic which measures 300x305mm.
Hi Team. I love these tiles and would like to have these on the bathroom floor and one bathroom wall. Your above comment says that these tiles are not recommended for a laundry floor – is this the case with a bathroom floor too? If they’re not recommended – could you recommend something similar? Such as “Hexagon Carrara Glazed Porcelain Mosaic (295x256mm)(#7359)”? Thank you so much in advance! 🙂
Hi Brittany, thanks for your enquiry. These mosaics can be used on a bathroom or laundry floor, however, as we use harsh chemicals in these areas, the polish may etch away and it can affect the colour of the stone over time. That being said, many people choose to install marble on their bathroom floors. If you are worried about the maintenance of this product, you can use the alternative porcelain mosaic (#7539) which requires very little maintenance and is resistant to staining.
Hi, Could you please tell me the size of an individual hexagon in this sheet?
Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. The hexagons are 48mm in size.
Can these tiles be applied to a bathroom wall : feature tile to a freestanding bath?
Hi there, Sure! These can be applied to a bathroom feature wall.
Are these tiles suitable for laundry floor?
Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. It is not recommended to use polished marble mosaics on the floor especially in a laundry with harsh chemicals being used. This is because the polish will etch away over time. It is recommended to use a honed product for this kind of application.
Do these tiles need to be sealed before and after laying? If so, how much is the sealer for 4 sq m?
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend sealing these marble mosaics after they have been installed. SureSeal Quick Dry 300g Aerosol Spray, which is available for $25/can is the best and the easiest option.
Hello – how thick are these tiles? and are they mostly white or mostly grey?
