Non Slip Floor Tiles

Non-Slip Floor Tiles – Be Safe and Choose R11 Floor Tiles

What is the most important thing to consider when you are looking for outdoor tiles? For most people, safety is the biggest concern. That’s why we offer an extensive range of non-slip floor tiles for outdoor areas at TFOTM. After all, who wants to realize that they’ve made a mistake when someone gets injured on their tiles?

But how can you make sure that you are choosing the right non-slip floor tiles? One important feature you should be looking for is the universal anti-slip ‘R’ rating. This international standard is adopted by most of the world’s leading manufacturers as the most preferred anti-slip standard. The bigger the number, the better anti-slip surface they have. Generally speaking, R11 is the minimum you would want in your non-slip floor tiles.

You may not expect to see a wide range to choose from when practicality is so important. True, just until a few years ago, no one cared, most non-slip floor tiles were small and boring. But you’ll be amazed to see the extensive range of stunning non-slip floor tiles here at TFO.

Listone D – Italian timber look non-slip floor tiles

Listone Italian Timber Look Non Slip Floor Tiles

One particularly eye catching range of non-slip floor tiles worth mentioning is the Listone D range from Italgraniti. This range, produced by one of the leading Italian manufacturers, features 6 different but equally exquisite colours. Multilayered glazing adds depth to the appearance imitating the time-worn beauty of aging natural timber boards. They are all available in 2 textures, one for indoors and the other, called ‘shabby’ for outdoors, boasting a R11 non-slip rating. That’s exciting, because you can now get the same tile for both inside and outside, creating a seamless and unified look throughout your home while you get the benefit of non-slip floor tiles for outside. Additionally, who could argue against beautiful timber look tiles that will not scratch and not require periodical sealing?

TFO is the best place to purchase non-slip floor tiles in Sydney with the ever widening range of exterior tiles. TFO imports directly from manufacturers around the world and sells them direct to you, enabling you to buy top quality tiles at a fraction of the cost you’d expect to pay elsewhere.

We are building a home and are very interested in the non-slip tile for several areas. Is the tile more difficult to clean than regular tile?

Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. Non-slip tiles generally are harder to clean than other finishes which is why they are popular for outdoor use. Depending on your application requirements, it is not usually necessary to use non-slip tiles indoors, unless it is being used in a commercial environment. Please give us a call for more information on (02) 8728 7800 and ask to speak with Andrew or Julie.

Can you please provide a price /sqm for supply and delivery of R11 floor tiles. I’m currently quoting for a disability ramp and the actual tile has not been specified soif you can give me a range from low to high that would help.

    Thanks
