Mosaic Tiles for Kitchens

Mosaic Tiles for Kitchens –Stunning Yet Cost Effective

Use dazzling mosaic tiles for your  kitchen and turn it into a master piece. What a wide variety of kitchen splashback options there are – tiles, mirror, stainless steel, glass and so many other types of materials can be used as a kitchen splashback. But we think using mosaic tiles for kitchens is one of the best ways to make a statement and at the same time save money.

Sure, massive made-to-fit glass looks fantastic on the kitchen splashback. But it’s very expensive, easily costing hundreds of dollars per square meter. There is also a risk of it not fitting right, as the glass needs to be cut exactly the right size for each wall. Some like the look of stainless steel which is cheaper than glass, but it too has disadvantages as it shows up smudges and other dirty elements very easily.

Why mosaic tiles for kitchens

That’s why we recommend mosaic tiles for kitchens. The variety of mosaic tiles is simply limitless. They come in a dazzling array of stunning pieces of stones, glass and metals. With so many options to choose from, we can guarantee that you will find mosaic tiles that will suit the colour scheme you may already have in your kitchen. You can add a classic feel to your kitchen by choosing simple but elegant tumbled travertine or marble mosaic tiles. On the other hand, if you want it to look modern, you may choose mosaic tiles made of glass pieces and stainless steel pieces.

TFO has the widest variety of stunning mosaic tiles stocked on-site in Sydney. It’s also the cheapest place to buy mosaic tiles, with most mosaic tiles being sold at only $10/sheet. That’s a great saving compared to other shops where you are expected to pay around $30/sheet. You would save a whopping $200 for 1 square metre.

A word of caution though, with mosaic tiles for kitchens, you will have many grout joints. Keeping those grout joints clean can be a difficult task with daily splashes of oil and sauces. That’s why we recommend at installation of your tiles, to seal the grout joints once they are dry. Sealing may be repeated once a year or so to maintain a strong resistance to stains.

Hi there, We don’t actually have mosaics made just of stainless steel. However, we have mosaics which come with mix of stainless steel and glass pieces or natural stone pieces.
