Looking for a tile that can be used outdoors for alfresco, courtyard, side path, & pool area, including coping (preferably bullnose). We absolutely love the look of the Silver Travertine or a Multi Grey Antique Limestone (not sure if you have anything like this) with the mix of grey & beige tones, however, we have been told not to use natural stone, as it will stain. On the flip side, if we went with a porcelain tile, we would like to find one that has the appearance of natural stone with similar tones to the Silver Travertine & one that has the same colored biscuit right through, so that when it is bullnosed it looks cohesive, however, I am yet to find a porcelain tile that ticks all of these boxes. Can you please advise me of any natural stone or porcelain tiles that have a mix of grey & beige tones that can be used around pool, etc?
Can you also please advise the pros & cons for using natural vs porcelain tiles?
Your asvice & assistance is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Natural stones, particularly travertine tiles and pavers, are stunningly beautiful. The great thing is that they age gracefully as time goes on. It is true that depending on the type of sealer you use, a periodical resealing is required. However, if you opt for an impregnating sealer, the frequency at which you need to apply a new coat of sealant can be kept to a minimum. We do have a few outdoor tiles that looks like travertine most are vitrified porcelain tiles. You can view these instore.
