Cleaning Polished Porcelain Tiles

Cleaning Polished Porcelain Tiles With Ease

If there is a plan to tile a certain area in your home, polished porcelain tiles must be a strong consideration. They are available in various sizes, styles, designs and quality.  Also cleaning polished porcelain tiles is nice and easy. The newest innovation is Nano pre-sealed technology and it has now been introduced. The question now is – what is Nano pre-sealed on polished porcelain?

Nano Preseal is a sealer that not only repels most stains it also adds to the light reflectivity. One of the most popular choices of floor and wall tiles in Australia is polished porcelain tile this is because it is water resistant, frost resistant, durable, has excellent anti-chip properties (once laid) and now with Nano preseal, it does not easily stain. The tile is sturdy and lasts for a long period of time, and is not that costly. But its use in bathrooms is gaining popularity due to its smooth yet surprising slip resistant properties.

So Nano preseal in porcelain tiles makes porcelain tiles a good choice for areas that are wet or dry. Most people use a dry mop as their regular way of cleaning. This means you do not have to buy many cleaning products to preserve the look of your tiles and this helps protect the environment. These tiles are also smooth and do not have pores so mould and fungi can not grow in them. This means that a wet mop is not needed anywhere as much as before. If you are going to wet mop please dry mop first to take the dust away. Otherwise the dirt when mixed with water will turn into mud, thus staining your grout joints.

Nano preseal on polished porcelain tiles also gives you and your family peace of mind as they can handle more abuse than nearly any other tile. It is therefore the conclusion of many that these tiles are a good choice for your bathroom. Monalisa are one of the leading manufacturers who apply the Nano technology. They have been acclaimed worldwide for their innovation and quality.

Understanding what a Nano preseal is will change the way you buy tiles forever. Why not visit the guys at TFO to find out more about their great range of nano presealed polished porcelain tiles or check their online store.

I have a day ago placed porcelain tiles in my hame that already have the nano sealant.
My question – I have been requested to put on the nano sealant again – is there any problem to put on the sealant on these new tiles. Will it cause a problem.
Or will it have no impact. Your speedy response will sincerely be appreciated.

      Hi Javie,

Sealing nano-presealed tiles is not necessary. I’ve spoken to the proffessionals at SureSeal for you and you can apply a sealer to the tile so long as it is clean and dry as dirt or dust will be sealed ontop of your tile. if you buy a sealer, conduct a sample test first on an off cut or spare tile and depending on the sealer you buy, read the manufacturers specifications and reccomendations. The manufacturer of your sealer will also have a support technical line on their product labels that you can call for further support. Here at TFO we sell SureSeal- for further sealing advise, feel free to call their toll free 1800 33 66 00 line for further assistance. Hope this helps.

Can I temper chocolate on polished porcelain tile with Nano

    • The Guys at TFO January 10, 2013, 7:11 pm

Great question Elizabeth! Many chocolatiers have asked for Crema Marfil Marble or Carrara marble as it is light in colour and maintains a consistent temperature for tempering chocolate. My advice is to speak to your fellow chocolatiers. Should you opt to use the above mentioned types of Marble, ask for a piece with minimal or close to no veins.
